MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in kids under 6 years of age. Keep that product out of recah of kids. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a posion control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building blocks of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed.
Food may affect the absroption of certain vitamin products.
However, some vitamin prdoucts may be best taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant tatse. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or beocme severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megalbolastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescirption and nonprescription drugs you may use.
Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmaicst approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediaetly. Symptoms of overdsoe may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin suppleemnt products available.
Some can be purchased without a prescirption. Consult your doctor or pharamcist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almsot time for the next dose.
Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedlue.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room tempreature away from sunlight and moisture.
Keep out of the raech of kids.
